Raggiungibile con una breve passeggiata la cappella degli Scrovegni, con i meravigliosi affreschi di Giotto, il Duomo di Padova, le bellissime piazze storiche, il museo civico. Con soli 30 minuti di macchina si raggiunge Venezia, oppure è possibile usufruire del servizio auto-pullman ogni mezz'ora fino all'una di notte.

The Hotel Donatello is found in one of the most historically interseting zones of the town, in St. Antony Place. Pleasant and confortable place. The guest can admire the view of the Basilica and the St. Antony Place, wich is the centre of artistic and spiritual interest. Ideal ubication for the visit of principal monuments of the town which are some few passes from the Hotel and, besides the Basilica, one can visit the Loggia Cornaro, St. George Oratory , with the frescos of Tiziano and Mantegna, the Orto Botanico (the oldest universitary Botanic Garden in Europe) A short walk will bring you to the Scrovegni chapel with its splendid Giotto's frescos, in the neighbourhood of which is the town Museum. Padua is only 30 minutes by car from Venice; there is also the bus-service Padua-Venice and back, every half an hour, till one o' clock a.m.

Die Gaeste koennen die Aussicht auf die Basilika und den St. Antonius-Platz geniessen, der das Zentrum aller kuenstlerischen und religioesen Interessen ist. Das Hotel ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt fuer die Besichtigung der wichtigsten Sehenswuerdigkieten der Stadt, von denen einige nur wenige Schritte entfernt sind: Ausser der Basilica kann man beispielsweise die Loggia Cornaro besuchen, das Oratorio di S. Giorgio mit den Fresken von Tizian und Mantegna und den botanischen Garten (der aelteste universitaere Botanische Garten in Europa!) Ein kurzer Spaziergang fuehrt zur Cappella degli Scrovegni mit ihren grossartigen von Giotto angefertigten Fresken, in deren Nachbarschaft sich das staedtische Museum befindet. Padua ist mit dem Auto nur 30 Minuten entfernt von Venedig; ausserdem gibt es auch einen Bus, der die Strecke Padua-Venedig und zurueck jede halbe Stunde faehrt, bis um 1 Uhr nachts.
